Friday Fun

Does this mean the body should be dead before I bury it? That's gonna cramp my style a bit...

  1. I don't think so. I don't think that is a shovel - too long in the handle. I think it was a sign that pitchforking is legitimate here. And it didn't even have any time limits that I could see.

    1. Hi EC. A pitchfork! Of course, and I do love using those, too. Thank you for clearing that up. :)

  2. I like Elephant Child's assessment.
Or it could mean warning, there are already too many bodies buries here,

    1. Hi Alex. Oh dear, if it's full I'll have to scout out a new body-dumping place... ;)

    1. Uh-oh, Loni. I wonder if pitchforks will pin the zombies to the ground... ;)

  5. I know it's asking you to go to a lot of bother, River, but I'd prefer to be dead for my burial. Pitchfork murders can be such an awful mess! Blood all over the place.

    1. You take all the excitement out of it, Ron, but I will honor your wishes since you're such a good friend of mine... ;)

  6. Thought I'd pitch in with a comment. Even if I haven't the fork what's going on.

It does seem like the dude in the sign has lost his head over whatever he's doing. I dig this post, River.

    Have a nice weekend.

    1. The ultimate punster has arrived! Yes, it's Gary, the IWSG man himself, the companion of Penny, the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar. I bow to your expertise in punsdom. I am unworthy. :)

  7. You're all concerned about what's in the ground there, but the dude has no neck! How the heck is his head staying on?!!

    1. I don't know, Christine. Maybe he's a magician? He still seems to be aiming that pitchfork pretty well. ;)

  8. That is the sign of dwarves working on my virginn snacks. Sometimes limbs appear while making the dough. But that makes them crunchy. Dragon likes!

    1. You've given me an entirely new perspective on this, Al. I hadn't thought of the virgin snack dough, silly me! :)

  10. Bawhaha! Hysterical! That reminds me of: "Zombie outbreak? Perfect! I've been waiting for a chance to hit my husband with a shovel. Bitten? Umm, perhaps he was."
