Some people and some rules just spoil all of the fun don't they? Sometimes I would like to declare open season on guests, particularly the self-invited ones.
I believe this sign is technically correct, with that hyphen. I'm fairly certain this is a ban on hunters as guests (at a motel or whatever) during hunting season. In some places the hunters drive out the regular guests who simply want to view the autumn foliage -- and not kill Bambi's mother while they're at it. Still, what a strange way to put it. Is this British? Canadian?
Yeah, but it's funnier to ignore the hyphen, Ron. ;) I don't know where this sign actually is but I'm hoping for open season on guests after the first of the year...

They are real spoilsports, EC. At least they left part of the year open... ;)
DeleteWe don't get to shoot the guest? Damn...
ReplyDeleteIt's a bummer, Alex. I'm looking to find more flexible accommodations for next year. :)
Deleteha ha
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it, Mac! :)
DeleteThat is always good to know. I guess I'll vacation after the New Year. ;)
ReplyDeleteMe too, Chrys. I like to have choices... ;)
