Growth
“If growing up means it would be beneath
my dignity to climb a tree, I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up!
Not me!”―

Not usually a fan of Peter Pan (or Tinkerbelle) but I am with J.M Barrie about never growing up - and I think it is waaaay too late now anyway. How sad, never mind.
ReplyDeleteWe can always be young in our head, EC. :)
DeleteHi human, River,
ReplyDeleteMy human thinks it would be fun to be Peter "Pun!"
And of course, my deluded human reckons "G" is for "Gary." :)
Penny, the pawsitive host of the Alphabark Challenge, 2014!
Certainly, G is for Gary, Penny! :)
DeleteIf it means I can't play computer games anymore, I'm not growing up either.
ReplyDeleteIt would, Alex, so don't grow up. Keep playing. :)
DeleteGrowth.....I had always hoped for it in the literal sense. I stopped growing in 6th grade and my friends soared past me.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I can't relate to that, JoJo. I'm 5'10". :)
DeleteI'm going to have this Peter Pan song in my head all day. Kind of mad at you now LOL. ;)
ReplyDeleteThis white kitty looks like she is the queen of all she surveys. What a beauty.
She's a beauty of a cat, Julie. Sorry about the earworm... ;)
DeleteI may grow older, but I've always seen growing up as optional. :)
ReplyDeleteExactly, Lynda. Growing up is overrated. :)
DeleteMy children still climb trees-maybe next time I'll join them. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd like to, Melanie. I think my body would be uncooperative though. :)
DeleteI still climb trees. I usually have a goal in mind when I do (apples, peaches), but I love the thrill of being among the leaves, bird level.
ReplyDeleteReally, Lee? I'd have to use a ladder. Or a treehouse! :)
DeleteAs long as I can get on the floor and play with Barbies, Match Box cars with my gr-kids, I am okay. That may get difficult when I hit 70, but as for now, my growth still has me at 8 yrs. old.
ReplyDeleteThat's the spirit, Susan! I have to crawl around on the floor too, retrieving dog toys from underneath furniture. :)
DeleteOoooh, I forgot to mention that I am over here from the A to Z Challenge, and will return.
ReplyDeleteThank for stopping by!
DeleteWe love our cats and I see from your A to Z posts you do too. I am afraid I won't be climbing any more trees myself, but I hope I don't ever stop climbing. Enjoy. Maria from Delight Directed Living
ReplyDeleteHi, Maria! Yes, cats are a passion of mine...they have me quite wrapped around their little claws. ;)
DeleteIf growing up means I have to quit writing silly novels, I'll never grow up! Not me!
ReplyDeleteSing along with me, Ron! The earworm is rotating in my head now. :)
DeleteI wish I could still climb a tree! I'm afraid a metal rod in my back doesn't really allow for much tree climbing. haha
ReplyDeletePlus, you may become a lightning rod up there, Chrys! We'll shoot paper airplanes into the air instead. :)
