Understanding
“When I was 5 years old, my mother always
told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked
me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I
didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.”―
John Lennon
Today I'm over at Untethered Realms talking about Unicorns. But not the white, fluffy kind. The Unicorns in my Jewels of Chandra series are rather evil. Kind of like me. Stop by and tell me what you think!

I like John Lennon's ambition.
ReplyDeleteAnd will hot foot over to see your unusual take on unicorns.
Lennon knew what it was about, EC. As for your hot foot...I know how much you like the evil things in life. ;)
DeleteHe was a wise man, taken too young.
ReplyDeleteHe was, JoJo. I've come to understand that about him more and more through the years.
DeleteIt's the simple answer.
ReplyDeleteIt is elegant in its simplicity, Alex. :)
DeleteThat John Lennon's ans stole my heart :)
ReplyDeletegood one
I agree, Afshan. It makes me happy just to read it! :)
DeleteWhen we raised our children to be responsible, caring adults, our main desire was for them to grow up to be happy people. I took "happy" or "joyful" over everything else. And I think we made it. If "happy" had been my child's response on that assignment, I would have been thrilled.

You are truly a worthy parent, Donna. I think many overlook that aspect of a child's education.
DeleteEvil Unicorns? Hmmm. Must think that over. As for your launch, send me stuff. I'm gone the first weekend, but could set up a post for the 5th. Would love to, actually.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lee! I'll put you on my list. Yes, evil unicorns...what else would Valkyrie-type women ride during a wild hunt? ;)
DeleteAnother excellent quote. And evil unicorns? MWHAHAHAHA!
ReplyDeleteWell, you know, Loni, evil is so much more fun than being nice. ;)
DeleteAnd thank you for signing up for my release! :)
DeleteAnother wonderful Lennon quote. And that cat looks as if it has guzzled more than its share of Jezebel's punch. Beyond happy!
ReplyDeleteYes, it does look to be taking one of Jezebel's trips, Ron! :)
