U Is For...

U is for…

Understanding

“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.”― John Lennon

Today I'm over at Untethered Realms talking about Unicorns. But not the white, fluffy kind. The Unicorns in my Jewels of Chandra series are rather evil. Kind of like me. Stop by and tell me what you think!

  4. When we raised our children to be responsible, caring adults, our main desire was for them to grow up to be happy people. I took "happy" or "joyful" over everything else. And I think we made it. If "happy" had been my child's response on that assignment, I would have been thrilled.

    1. You are truly a worthy parent, Donna. I think many overlook that aspect of a child's education.

  7. Another wonderful Lennon quote. And that cat looks as if it has guzzled more than its share of Jezebel's punch. Beyond happy!
