    1. Ain't it, Ron? And these cats are all so lovable-looking. I'm lucky I'm not owning 26 more cats from this! :)

  2. Snap. I note that Ron continues his (less than sanitary) habit of taking the words out of my mouth). Oh the Horror of it. But a great quote and cat just the same.

    1. Bwahaha! Love it, EC! I'm sure your words are...I was going to say "clean" but that's not quite right. Unfettered by germs...

  3. Elephant's Child, I'm not worthy to take words out of your mouth.

    1. Oh yes you are. And you probably won't catch anything (fatal) either. Two minds thinking similar thoughts...

    2. We can just pick them directly from the brain, Ron & EC. You guys have brought a smile to my face this morning - badly needed.

    1. It always will, Alex. And it will come to light, too. Lies never stay hidden.

  5. I'm with Alex here. The lie will come out (they always do). Easier to deal with the truth said in love.

    1. Hah! I just said the same thing, Lynda, before I saw your comment. :)
The truth is much easier to remember, as well. Lies only propagate more lies to shore the first ones up.

  6. I always prefer the truth. And then have to type the word prefer 3 times to get it right!

    1. I think most creative people are that way, JoJo. We have to at least create the outer appearance of being tougher when we put ourselves in the public eye.

  8. Hi River .. I wish I'd could take time to think why at some stages and then I'm sure I'd understand and it'd be ok .. but you said it much more succinctly!

Oh and I do love kittens that would really like to get down off the tree ... cheers Hilary

  14. Hm. Not sure I agree with the quote. Sometimes people don't want the truth. They comfort themselves with lies they create themselves.

*waves* I see you over at FB.

    1. Hi, Huntress! *waves back*
Hosseini said the truth was better, but I agree with you, many people like to play ostrich and duck their head in the sand and lie to themselves.

There's a painful truth in the quote you've chosen.
